Book Proposals
Global Professional Publishing specializes in books for professional practitioners and students in higher education. We publish in the subject areas of Finance and Management and in particular those relating to Banking and Financial Services. We do however give consideration to proposals for books in other areas.
We do accept unsolicited proposals and part manuscripts, and work from authors without agents, but we ask that in the first instance you send a completed books proposal form to commissioning@gppbooks.com.
If we do ask for your manuscript, or sample chapters, please send it electronically.
Please allow two weeks for us to reply. This allows enough time for us to consider the suitability of your book. We receive a number of texts, which are all considered on their own merit, but this process takes time. We will, however, confirm receipt of your email within one week.
If we do not wish to pursue your book any further then we will let you know, but we may not be able to provide an in-depth analysis as to why. Please do not assume that a rejection means that your book is not good enough. It could simply be that it doesn't fit with our list, or that we already have something similar on our list or in the pipeline. We are a small, independent publisher, and, as such, there is a limit on the number of books we publish each year. But rest assured if your book is really what we want we will be willing to make every effort to make room for your title on our list.
